English

Divorce may lead to destructive effects on women's lives, in which case psychological interventions based on culture and the needs of the community are necessary to reduce damages. The purpose of current study is to investigate the effectiveness of online group psychological intervention protocol after divorce on self-esteem and life satisfaction in traumatized women. The study utilized a quantitative, semi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design that included both experimental and control groups. Data were obtained for screening using Fisher's Divorce Adjustment Questionnaire (FDAS) and for pre-test and post-test using Self-Esteem Scale (SES) and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). SPSSv27 software was used to analyze quantitative data. At the descriptive level, mean and standard deviation indicators were used, and univariate and multivariate analyses of covariance tests were used to examine the variables of self-esteem and life satisfaction at the inferential level. Participants in online group counseling sessions scored higher on self-esteem and life satisfaction, and the results show the effectiveness of online group psychological intervention protocol after divorce in promoting women's self-esteem and life satisfaction (p<0.05). Based on the findings, the training and implementation of online group psychological intervention protocol after divorce is suggested as a psychological intervention method based on the culture and needs of society.
