Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the effectiveness of group reality therapy on increasing resiliency in MS Patients of Isfahan. This study was quasi experimental designed with pretest, and posttest and, control group. Of all MS patients in the year 92-93 member of Isfahan, 30 persons, who scored less than 60 in the questionnaire of Kanr and Davidson were selected for this research. Randomly, 15 people in the group were chosen for the experiment and 15 were in the control group. Reality therapy program was carried out in a 90 minute meeting in 8 sessions. Validity questionnaire 0.64 internal consistency and stability with Cranach’s 0.83 is confirmed. The findings of this study in both test and control with the use of statistical methodology ANCOVA and independent t-test on the post test difference were analyzed. The result showed that reality training group therapy on increasing sway- collection of significant impact. As well as training group therapy reality on the amount of competence, confidence in the individual instincts, negative emotions and personal stiffness is of significant impact. Teaching group reality therapy enhances resilience.
